I recently did an update from “CN North America NT 2010” to “CN North America NT 2012.40”
Before the update, I could fit the entire US & Canada Map on my Nav III. Now, with the updated map, I can only transfer about 5-6 states (i.e. CA, NV, AZ, OR, UT), then the Map Source – Map Install program shows that my device storage is full.

As with the 2010 map, I also have the “BMW Motorrad Worldwide v3.00 installed. This did not create a storage problem before.

    Thanks for any replies.

The Nav III requires that the map be downloaded directly to the devise from the Garman website or factory disc. Map-sets sent from the PC / Map Source-Map Installer, are transferred into a different part of the devise's memory. This partition of the devise only has about 200MB of space.
