Add Garmin maps to Tom Tom Go920

I have a TomTom Go920 (no longer serviced by Tom Tom) can I use any other map sources ie. Garmin?

The short answer is no, even if you take free mapping software like Open Street Maps it is not possible to convert OSM files into a format that will run on Tomtom devices as it will on Garmin devices
