Why sometimes I can put in the name of the place I want to go to, and it finds it, but when I put in the address to that same place it can't find it? Seems strange if you ask me. Garmin 61 DriveSmart.
Garmin has f’d up their search algorithm. 5 and 5th are not the same Ave and Avenue are not the same
My example address 111-5th Ave Nw
When I type in the 5 there are a number of selections the most obvious is 5th Avenue. If I choose that the gps starts searching and comes up with places 100s of kms away. If I type in “5 Ave NW” it finds the correct address. “5th Ave NW” doesn’t work.Also if I type in 5 and then Done I get a list that includes the correct address but I have to scroll down a few pages.
