I need a GPS for my hiking & cycle touring activities.
I have short listed the Garmin Map 62s & the Garmin edge touring

Can anyone advise which of these or any other would best suit my needs?

    Thanks

I would say it depends on the amout of time you will be spending on each activity, (62s for hiking and Edge for cycling), and how well each can do the 'other' activity, i.e. how inconvnient would it be to take the Edge on a hiking expedition, or the 62s on a cycle trip

I would say the map 62s is a better 'all-rounder' but not if it will be on a bike 90% of the time

    Hi Nuvi-Nebie
    Thanks for your response.
Which of these would you say is the easiest to use I have no experience with GPS gadgets
Also I'm 99% sure but need confirmation, does the edge touring follow of road tracks (fell walking)
    Thanks
