I found a neat free GPS app for my Android Phone called OruxMaps. Seems pretty powerful. Would be even more powerful if it read offline maps - which it does :)! Apparently OruxMaps will read older Garmin maps but not newer ones (not sure what the difference is). I'm specifically trying to load a .img map but things are not really working right.
