Antenna for GPS Module CONDOR C1216

    Hi, Need help in choosing an active antenna for CONDOR C1216 for placement in helicopter.

    I am not qualified to comment on the placement of GPS antennas in helicopters, hopefully other users may be of more help to you. I did find a CAA report into tests they did showing that helicopter rotors can effect the operation of GPS receivers, the report is here :- https://www.caa.co.uk/docs/33/CAPAP2003_07.PDF, the report said where you place the antenna has an effect, basically keep it away from the tail rotor. Also I noticed the Trimble module you are using (C1216), has the COCOM Limits applied but as these are Max. altitude of 60000 feet and Max. ground speed of 1200 mph, I'm guessing this won't be a problem :)
