Cannot See Addresses While Hovering with Cursor

I use a 2016 MacBook Pro for Basecamp along with owning the 595LM. When using my cursor and pointing to road in Basecamp, addresses don't show up as before. If I click on a road, a pop up will show the address. I want to be able to just hover my mouse cursor randomly over a road "without" clicking to see if I'm close to an address I'm looking for. Zoomed all the way in and/or out it won't show. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks, Ray

Found an answer on another forum in which I want to share for those of you interested; On the Mac go to Preferences > Display. A box needs to be checked stating; Display additional information in map tooltips. Just under that you can set how many seconds. My problem was with the box being un-checked.
