I'm curious about which processor chip it uses. Does it have the STA8088EXG?
    Just curious.

It has been reported that the STA8088EXG is used in the Etrex10, this device is a Silicon on Chip (SoC) meaning that it is single chip that combines a GNSS receiver and CPU, eg :-
Probably the same SoC is used in the Etrex20 and Etrex30, however, the '30x' may not use it, although the only changes I can find are better display and more internal memory

Many thanks. I have a feeling that if they are not using the SoC mentioned above it is one that is very similar.
