I've just updated my desktop Mac from an Intel iMac to one of the new "Apple Silicon" M1 driven versions. I have found that it will not recognise my GPSMap 62 device when connected via USB. Does anyone know a good solution to this? I connected via a USB hub as the new iMac has only USB C input ports (an issue of Vanity overtaking practicality IMHO) and the cable I had was the good old USB A on the computer end. Other peripherals work via the hub.

You may have more luck replacing the USB hub with a USB converter like these: -
