Covert GPS Trackers

    How are those covert GPS trackers that are affixed underneath a car out of sight of the sky able to receive, and for that matter send signals. Are they designed so they use the car body as an antenna?

    They bounce off the ground. They are not as accurate as the antenna version, especially in cloudy weather, but they can get the job done.
