DriveSamart 60 LMT and GTM 60 Traffic Receiver

Will using the GTM 60 Traffic Receive with the DriveSmart 60 LMT GPS enable real-time traffic conditions as alternative to using the android Garmin Smartphone Link application.

Has anyone have success with this Traffic receiver? I used the GTM 60 with my previous 2595LMT HD GPS with great success....
