I have had this DriveSmart 61 for about 4 days now.

This morning, the thing started just jumping all over the place - from menu to menu - all by itself.
It's doing it right now as I type this.

    HELP!

That doesn't sound good, it has a touch screen so it's possible too much moisture could simulate 'touches'. The only other thing I could sugest is a master reset, this will set the unit back to factory default so you will have to copy anything you have put on the unit before you do the reset, then try the Nuvi hard reset methods on this link :-

If the unit won't allow this reset or the problem continues, I would ask for a replacement unit

OP HERE. I did the "hard reset" (pressing the button for more than 10 seconds?) And so far, so good, but I haven't been playing with it since. Let's hope it was a one-time fluke cuz I've been raving about this unit on Facebook!

I also cleaned the screen with a micro cloth.

I think that is the 'Full Off' method, the full reset should get a message like :- 'Erase all User Data Y/N'

I'll give that a try if it happens again...
    Thanks.
