Good morning all, like many newbie with a problem, HELP!

I just got an e trex 10 & using Garmin's "BaseCamp" software transferred all my waypoints, tracks & routes to it from my e-trex & the "LOW MEMORY" message keeps appearing.

It never happened with the e-trex & when I check the memory in the e trex 10 it shows as 4~5% used.

The memory is supposed to be 8.8 Megs & my files on the computer show 44 Kilobytes!

    Any ideas?

It seems to be stuck & very slow as well if that is a clue. I've deleted stuff, reset & even "deleted all", but nothing seems to cure the problem.

I've done some digging & found a bit more info in case that helps.
    E-Trex 10

    Software V 3.30

    ID 3888868735

Shows 892.0Kb free of 8.8Mb with 42~45Kb file loaded.

File has 126 Waypoints, 8 Routes & 6 Tracks with a total of 170 track points
But at the same time it shows memory usage of 4~5% & gives “LOW MEMORY” warning.
Deleting all waypoints routes & tracks shows 1.30Mb Free of 8.8MB.

    Other symptoms:
Battery never shows over about 50% even with brand new batteries of the correct type installed. Very slow operation, sometimes an 8~10 second lag between button push & change to screen.

    Anyone here?
    *crickets*
Replacement arrived, memory problem fixed but brand new battery (correct type selected) shows 50% charge still.
Is this normal for the ETrex 10?
