Edge Touring comms problems after new battery installed

    After a few years my Edge Touring cycle computor battery life was low poor that I decided to install a new battery.

    I did this successfully but now I cannot get the computor to recognise the Garmin drive, it recognises SD card OK , but not the Garmin, so I cannot update it , upload routes or download data.

    It functions fine when used to track my rides, but will not communicate when conn ected to the computor.

    I have tried using the "First Aid" from the tool kit when the computor flags up that it cannot read the device, to no avail.

    Do I need to re-install something?

    Grateful for any help .
