When I plug into Garmin Express, it indicates "TopoActive North America 2023.10" as the map on my device. However, I see more in addition to that when I go into the device under Setup>Map>Map Information>Select Map, such as:

Enabled - Worldwide DEM Basemap NR
Enabled - Garmin DEM Map North America 2023.10
Enabled - TopoActive NA, Middle America 2023.10
    Enabled - TopoActive NA, Canada/Alaska 2023.10
    Disabled - Digital Globe Demo.jnx
Disabled - USGS Quads Grand Canyon National Park.jnx

So what are these? Is there a way to remove? Thanks!

I just discovered from SUpport that “Coverage for North America is comprised of three different files on the device. Canada/Alaska, US all states except Alaska, Middle America south of the US border.”
    So that leaves :
Enabled - Worldwide DEM Basemap NR
Enabled - Garmin DEM Map North America 2023.10
    Disabled - Digital Globe Demo.jnx
Disabled - USGS Quads Grand Canyon National Park.jnx

More research shows: "DEM (elevation display) is part of the world base map (gmapbmap.img). It only shows when you zoom way out on the 2D map." So that leaves:

    Disabled - Digital Globe Demo.jnx
Disabled - USGS Quads Grand Canyon National Park.jnx

JNX files are usually small Birdseye overlay maps, these are photographic views from above like Google Earth, there is some info. on the Digital Global Demo here :-

    https://support.garmin.com/en-GB/?faq=T5bdgwIIWtAGR00cQZyBF9

It is possible to remove these jnx files but as they are much smaller than a proper map you won't be saving much storage space and they can be Disabled (as they currently are) so you will never see them
