Greetings,
I found my GPSMAP 60CX the other day and put fresh batteries in it, and powered it on. I still had a 2012 version of City Navigator on there but shortly after I discovered openstreetmap and replaced it with that. The detail is unquestionably better!
The 60CX usually takes a couple minutes to acquire satellites and scrolling the map screen is generally slow. Any of you who have the 65 or 65s, does the processing power seem to be faster? Is there anything it does much better than the 60CX/60CSX ? I initially purchased the 60CX because I liked the fact that it uses the standard AA batteries so there wouldn't ever be a situation of being unable to find a proprietary battery. Just trying to see if it's worth upgrading to the 65/65s.
