GARMIN 172c Bought and used since 2004

    Soldered in new battery, latest software update
    connected in a new external antenna, internal non functtional.

    Still no reception of sattellites

    Has this unit finally given up after 20 years?

    Does the 172c see any satellites at all ?, a more common fault is finding a few satellites but never getting a satellite 'fix' ?
