Garmin 60LMT construction delay alerts question

Hello all---
When I click the "X" to close the pop-up window on the right, it reopens either immediately or within 5 seconds. I obviously have acknowledged there is an incident ahead, so is there a way to stop this pop up from appearing over and over and over again?
I want to keep the alerts for construction and traffic active, I just do not need to be constantly reminded after I've closed the pop-up.

If you are travelling on the same Route every day you will be aware of the contruction delays so you could turn the alerts off, if they are appearing on different Routes each day then you would have to wait for the 'Remaining' distance to count down to zero but at 69 MPH that would only take 2.5Mins. I don't think there is an alert refresh delay, also at that speed, I don't think I would be looking at the satnav every 5 seconds
