I have just bought a Garmin Dakota 10, which was bought to take grid reference readings in the field (in the UK) which I then want to download onto my computer. I have discovered I can persuade Excel to open the GPX files to display the data but I really want them as OS grid refs, not latitude and longitude. I've manage to change the display on the Dakota itself to OS GRs, but it still seems to record them as lat / longitude in the GPX file. Does anyone know if I can persuade the machine to record/down load them as OS grid references.
