Garmin Drive 61 how to display mileage to destination

I have spent many hours with the manual to learn how to do this. So far no luck. The old Nuvi had this and we loved it.

I think this may be due to the mode your Satnav is in, if you tap on the 'Time' icon on the bottom right of this picture :-

you will be given these 3 options :-

But if you are in navigation mode, e.g. the satnav is directing you to a destination and you click on the 'Time' icon you will be given extra options like this:-

Many thanks. Exactly what I needed. Currently so foggy here I can’t get satellite. Can’t hardly wait
to try it. I really liked your screen capture add ins as it helped a lot in understanding what I needed to do.
