I purchased this unit Mar 25 2020 and it has been used no more than an hour. The GPS works great but the mount that plugs into the back and then on the bottom sticks on to a pad on my dash has lost its tension. The lever that is supposed to tighten when pressing downward no longer stick to the pad.

. . . And the area it sticks to and then wetting them slightly before attaching the suction cup

There is another option and that is to heat the suction cup with a hair dryer until the cup gets back it’s “memory”. It will soften and regain its flat shape.
