Can I turn an automotive Garmin nuvi 2597LMT into a Marine GPS? Thank you

I guess the real question is , 'Will the nuvi 2597LMT install marine maps like the Bluechart G3 series of maps', Nuvis are not in the compatibility list for Bluechart G3 and I don't know if anyone has tried an install, so the answer is probably no
