Garmin GPS35 FW issue

    Hi All
    I have the old style Garmin GPS35 (looks like a PC mouse with long tail)
    This suffered the WRNO issue, and am now wondering if a firmware update on this particular device is possible.
    I have scoured the net for info but without much luck.

    On another note , I had the same issue with the Garmin GPS16-HVS , However I managed to find some info and have now solved the issue by uploading new FW into the device.

    Just wish I could do the same with the GPS35 device.
    Any help or info would be appreciated .

    Many thanks for your reply , I had not seen that info before and it makes good reading.
    I will try the fix later and report back.
