Garmin GPSMap 66s connection issues

    Hi all,

    Previously when I connected my GPSMap 66s to my Mac, I got the USB symbol on the device screen, it connects to the computer and shows up as two removable drives, GARMIN and GARMIN SD. Then I could start up Basecamp and do my thing. This morning however, when I connect my GPS via the USB cable, the device powers up and goes shows the map screen and does not connect to the computer. I haven't changed any settings to my knowledge, I've tried different USB ports and different cables, but no joy.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Finally got it working: Turned off my GPS, reconnected it to my Mac whilst pressing the up arrow on my device, held it down for 45 seconds and that seemed to do the trick.
