Garmin Oregon 550 Database Error

Hi,

I have a problem with my GPS Handheld, Garmin Oregon 550.
My handheld show "Database Error" on the screen when I try to "mark waypoint"
I try to connect my handheld to the computer, it shown the space is full but there is no data exist.

Is there anybody how to fix it?

I would try a Master Reset of the unit, please note that this will delete all user data, so backup anything you want to keep. From off, touch and hold the top left of the screen while powering on the unit, you may get a screen brightness option first, use '+' and '-' to adjust and then hit 'X' botton left of screen goto the next screen, you should now have a screen that says, "Do you really want to erase all user data" Yes / No, select Yes

If the unit powers up as nornal, power off and re-try as the top left 'touch' is not always detected
