Has anyone had experience with screen burn? The touch screen has 2 large blotches burned into the screen. There is no cracks or screen damage to suggest it was from external impact.

Screen burn on CRT and LCD displays is caused by the same image being displayed for many hours, as the two blotches are very unlikely to have ever been displayed I don't think they are screen burn, however any blunt impact to the screen could result in a permanent blotch on the LCD and would not leave a mark on the surface of the display
