Garmin Zumo XT and 2018+ Honda Goldwing

    All,

    I have good news to report. I couldn't find this information anywhere prior to buying the new Zumo XT to replace the onboard GPS of the 2018+ Goldwing (mine is a 2021).

    The Zumo WILL pair to the bike as a phone and work as a BLUETOOTH SOURCE so you can play the Zumo through the bike speakers! I was thinking I'd have to use a bluetooth receiver with a 3.5mm out into the AUX input (which would require disassembling half the bike just to install the stupid $30 cable... which should have been done at the factory... another subject).

    Hope this helps someone out. Joined the forum just to get this message out in cyberspace.

    Do you have a BT headset as well? Will the Zumo voice combine and also broadcast with other functions like music, carplay, AA etc so you can listen to ALL sources via your BT headset?
