Geoexplorer 3 and exporting NMEA data

    I have a Geoexplorer 3 that I am attempting to resurrect and get some further use out of. I want to stream GGA and VTG NMEA messages to a laptop.

    If I have the serial clip (and a serial cable), will the Geoexplorer automatically stream the data?

    In the Other menu, NMEA output interval is set to 5 seconds and GGA and VTG messages are set to yes.
