GNSS Firmware Engineer
A market leading Telecommunications Company is looking to recruit someone who has a proven background as a GNSS Engineer.
Key Skills:
• In depth understanding and practical knowledge of Least Squares, Kalman Filtering and other numerical optimization techniques.
• Good understanding of statistical techniques for error analysis, error detection and elimination.
• Implementation knowledge of GPS/ GNSS location, navigation algorithms, error sources and the techniques used to mitigate them.
• Software programming in ‘’C’’ on embedded platforms (e.g. ARM).
• Familiarity with scripting languages.
• Software Assembler coding on embedded platforms (e.g. ARM or DSP).
• Use of Matlab.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, Development, Implementation, Optimization and Test of new features on GNSS measurement and positioning engine.
• Architecture, design, development and optimization of GNSS and A-GNSS location & navigation.
• Implementation, testing and analysis of new algorithms running in high level language (‘’C’’).
• Support of customer releases and verification activities.
