Google maps

Can anyone please help,
I have a samsung Galaxy J 3 and a P - NAVI GPS Navigation System.
On the phone i have google maps installed and also Android Auto. What i am trying to achieve is to get the google maps to display on the larger 7 inch screen of the P-NAVI. Is this possible ?.

The Google maps on your Smartphone are not in the same format as the maps on your P - NAVI GPS Navigation System so they will not load, I found a Youtube video showing how to update mapes in the P - NAVI GPS Navigation System format if is of any use, Please note I have not downloaded these maps so I can't say if they any good
