gps-66sr - how to make it use alternate storage?

My 66sr only has a few GB left in its main storage, mostly occupied by maps...
However, it has a full 32GB alternative storage that is not used at all...
How can I make it divert some of those large files to the alternate storage?

I'm on Windows 10 Pro, and have current Garmin Express installed.

Well, I installed that program, but I'm not sure what to do with it??
It shows 3.05 GB free out of 14.5 GB,on H: (GPSMAP 66sr (Unit ID: 3414148321),
and it shows GARMIN EXT (I, which has 31.9GB free out of 31.9GB,
but *none* of the program options show any way to interact with I:

If I right click on any of the existing maps, it shows only "Install maps on H:" ...
Options => Device Transfer doesn't mention the GARMIN EXT at all...
When I right-click on I: User Data, and select "Install maps on GARMIN EXT (I", it opens a dialog that says:
"No unlocked maps were found for this device."

What am I missing??

The steps I would expect to take are :- Basecamp >>Maps >> Install Maps>[select drive]

Here the selectable drives are Nuvi56 and Nuvi 56 - SD, if you select Nuvi 56 - SD you will see something like this :-

It shows 6 maps that are already on the SD card and one (City Navigator) that is on the internal memory, in this case there is not enough room to copy city navigator to the SD as it is 6.6GB and there is only 2.57 GB free, however if there was enough space you could copy city navigator from the internal memory to the SD card, you could then delete city navigator from the internal memory if you wanted to

Sadly, none of this actually works for me...
Note the attached images; BaseCamp *does* see both drives (H: and I: ) ...

However, it doesn't actually give me any options for I: ...

Well, okay... I don't know if this actually did what I wanted or not, but here's how I handled the situation:
I copied all the files from h: to i: (the external card)
I then noted the filenames for the map files (shown in BaseCamp):
d9953040a.*
d7753110a.*
gmapprom.*
gmapsup1.*
and deleted those from h:, leaving them on i:
I then rebooted the gps, plugged back into my computer, waited for the drives to appear in File Explorer,
then fired up BaseCamp and let it do its cleanup work...
This appears to have worked, at least to BaseCamp's satisfaction; it is showing the maps on the map display...
I'll have to see if the gps itself still accesses the maps successfully; if so, then I guess I'm done...

Yes, it looks like on certain units like the 66s that all memory is grouped as one block containing both internal and microSD, I guess this isn't a problem as long as it is handled correctly , however I have noticed that Garmin Express does not always do a very good job when sending maps to units that have both internal and microSD memory, it quite often fails to install large maps when it can't find sufficient space on internal memory and doesn't use micoSD memory correctly, because of this I always use the 'Download to Computer only' option in Garmin Express and then manage the copy to GPS unit using Basecamp
