Can anyone recommend a runners watch that works well in an urban environment? I currently have a garmin forerunner 235, looking to upgrade. I live in Chicago, and anytime I get close to the tall buildings, my mile times can be up to 2 minutes per mile off.

A GPS in a watch is always going to struggle is difficult environments, I'm not sure a different. Model of watch would be any better, you could try turning on GLONASS with :-

Select Menu > Activity Settings > GPS > GPS + GLONASS.
