GPS satellite elevation angle calculation

    Hello all,

    Your assistance will be very acknowledged.

    Suppose the coordinates of two points in 3D-space are given as:

    P1 (xs, ys, zs) (GPS satellite, for instance)
    P2 (xu, yu, zu) (GPS user, for instance)

    Is there any available formula for calculation the elevation angle of
    the GPS satellite as observed on user location? Any suggestion with
    the calculation error not larger than 5% will be very appreciated.
    Reference is not required, but will be very useful.

    Many GPS receivers report Azimuth and Elevation angle for each satellite
    currently being tracked to an accuracy of about one degree. There is online
    software for similar calculations.
