    Hello all,
In my work i often need to use GPS and I am using a Garmin Montana 610 currently. However, i am interested in something that works more like ArcGIS. Is there a GPS unit out there that i can upload shapefiles on and be able to take out into the field and see my boundaries?

You will be able to create a set of waypoints on a computer program such as Garmin Basecamp and download them to almost any GPS unit, certain Garmin units will also allow picture overlays to be downloaded to units that can be of a scanned map etc.
