I need to replace my antenna 17 X. Can I use a 19 X HSV as a replacement. 17x has 5 pins ,19xHSV has 8. Which wires don't I use if I cut and join? Cheers

It looks like the 17x and the 19X are interchangeable (See page 19)

Thanks. I need to do the opposite. Need to wire in 19 x HVS into existing wiring for 17 x . 17 x has 5 pins , presume 5 wires, 19 x HVS has 8 wires. Which ones become redundant.

Both the 17X and the 19X have 8 wires, only 5 or 6 wires are used :-
