I need a GPS device for trekking and I like the Garmin GPSMAP 64s but I have a doubt. Can it save the number of satellites and accuracy (HDOP) for waypoints and trackpoints?

Looking on the web I found it save data in gpx format but I don't know if gpx contains the information I need.

The 'satellites and accuracy (HDOP)' info. is not contained in a GPX file, however it is possible to record this data, it is available in NMEA sentences via the USB connector, this data is real time (updated each second), it is not stored as a file on the GPS, so you would have to connect via USB to a computer and store the data as a file on the computer

    Thank you for reply.
I know about the connection with NMEA sentence. I was hoping it was possible to save the same info using only the gps device but you confirm there is no way.
