    good afternoon

I am a student and possess a board zarlink gps4020 (gps.psas.pdx.edu). I have little knowledge in programming and would like to change this program OpenSource. But I am having difficulty in compiling.

For testing, I am trying to compile the OpenSource program gps4020, I get an executable of 1.3MB in Linux. Then use a program called bin2srec to convert to .srec. But the file size is 4MB, incompatible to upload on the board.

Please like to help. How to compile OpenSource program (I have the CD of the video gps4020 plate), for .srec to run correctly on the board.

PLEASE: I dont know how to compile to .srec. Just help guys, when possible.

    Thank you
