If you mean how do you search for the name of a house or business, you can't, it wouldn't help if you could because the maps that are used don't contain that kind of detail about an address

One can enter a name to go with a location. When you click on "save" for the location you are prompted for a name. I have done this.

OK so you have created a Favorite (Waypoint) and you want to change the name associated with it, I would say the steps are :-
- Where To ?
- Favourites
- All Favourites
- Enter Current name of Favourite (or select from list)
- Select 'i' (for information)
- Select 3 horizontal bars (top left)
- Edit
- Name
- Replace current name with a new one using keyboard
