Have a new MacBook Pro, and trying to connect a Navigator 5. The Macbook only has USB C ports, so I am using a short adapter cable from USB to USB C. The GPS don't show up in Garmin Express at all, or even showing up as a drive. However, it is actually charging. An older Nuvi 2595 connects fine. My Garmin Inreach Mini connects fine, so I know the USB cable and adapter works.

Also have an older MacBook Pro (2015) with regular USB ports. Everything works fine, including the Navigator. I have no idea what else to try.

    Anyone had this issue?
