LAST DITCH EFFORT AGAIN....

    I have a rino 530, its not a chx.
    i want to load a more detailed map than the embedded map. I don't need topo are anything. I have the radio and cable and can ship to someone that can help. i will pay $$$..... or , I would also pay to have some walk me through this process.

    right now the map says my location is out in a lake...... I am not!

    Personally I would not ship my GPS to a total stranger, you might not get it back ! !

    I can't see how changing the map will change your location from lake to land, the new map will show the same lake as the old one, it sounds as if you have a problem with finding your 'real' location

    It's better to install the free maps into Garmin Basecamp (See your other thread) and then send them from Basecamp to the Rino
