I have the above unit which hasn't been used for years. I want to use it again but the screen is blurred and has a dark centre. This makes it almost impossible to read, even after changing the contrast. Can you tell me if there is anything I can do or would I need to replace the screen? Thanks

It does sound like it has a damaged screen, the dark centre sometimes happens if the GPS is very hot and this usually corrects itself when the GPS is cooled down but if it is not due to heat then replacing the screen may be the only option
