I have a GPSD running on a remote Linux machine (Raspberry Pi) and I would like to watch the GPSD position on my local computer. There are some map programs that support GPSD, but they seem to be hardcoded to view the local GPSD. Are there any map programs that allow connection to a remote GPSD?

I can view the remote daemon with gpsmon <ip address> so everything works technically.

    Grateful for any help!

Thank you for your tips! I tried some different solutions and finally managed to get it working in QGIS. It can load up a map from Google Maps, connect to a remote GPSD and even draw a tracking line in real time.
