I bought a micro SD card for my Nuvi 57, inserted it but it doesn't seem to be recognized. When I connect to Garmin Express on the computer it says I'm low on memory and might want to get a memory card. Any thoughts?

Yes, the Nuvi isn't good at indicating the satus of memory cards, microSD cards need to be formatted in FAT32 format, If you have Garmin Basecamp on your computer / laptop, it will show any microSD cards that are installed in your Nuvi, i.e.:-

Also when your Nuvi is connected to your computer / laptop, you may get info like this :-

Yes when I look at the device thru the computer I see the (empty) memory card. Whether Mr Nuvi will ever use it we will see.
