Recently got a Garmin Monterra
I have a few notes and questions - anyone else have these problems or solutions?
1) Monterra has a problem connecting to BaseCamp on Windows PC most of the time
2) I cannot connect Monterra to iPad via Bluetooth whatsoever
3) Why doesnt the Monterra save elevation data in waypoints???
4) How can I modify the widgets that came with the unit, or create my own. I really like the one with the compass & elevation, but could'nt care less about barometer...
5) the LiON battery life is horrible and they should have included an off-unit charging system. Is it the same battery as Montana series? is there a battery charger for it?
6) Boot up time is often more than 45 seconds! geez
7) THE COMPASS IS OFF BY MORE THAN 30-degrees. At true north, with true north on, it shows between 315 and 330 degrees!
