I have a Motorola GPS (don't remember the model) sitting in a drawer which I stopped using because Motorola stopped supporting map updates.

Is there a way to get maps for it? Or should it just go to the electronics recycler?

The Motorola Xplore 500 seems to be linked to Binetone and Ndrive.com, maybe they can help

I had asked questions about an old Motorola GPS and I was pointed to
    Code:
     moto.hubbleconnected.com/eu/solutions/28988+5667/MotorolaSatelliteNavigationSystem/Arethereanymapsp.

That page says that map updates are available free for the "useful" life of the device. They define useful life as three years. LOL.

My Garmin is over a decade old and I can still get updates for it.
