I got into geocaching a while ago and just purchased a Sportrak Map on Ebay. After an entire day of caching, I was getting frustrated that i wasn't finding any of the caches I was looking for so I compared the coordinates to another GPS and found the one i had been using is over 100 feet off. Has anyone run into this before and what do I do to fix it? I called Magellan and a very rude person told me that the Sportrak Map is obsolete and no longer supported and that he could not help me.
I have a data cable on the way for it. Is there any reason to believe a software update could fix it?

    Any help would be appreciated

Check your settings. Degrees-minutes-seconds varies considerably from degrees-minutes-decimal minutes or degrees-decimal degrees. Just a hunch!
