My friend is about to chuck his Navman 5505i Chartplotter overboard because it looses its GPS fix on occasions. However, he figures that if he could feed in an external aerial, all might be fine.
Reading the manual for the 5505i, I see that it can accept NMEA Input through its "White Nut" socket.
Who, or what, could fix this problem, please?
