I found this forum and a thought I should ask the experts!
I am looking for a device that has the same characteristics as a Garmin Foretrex (e.g 101) but much cheaper (let's say half the price).
Allow me to explain why, what etc:
- It will be used in an amateur Enduro race (softer that the redbull romaniacs
)
- a mass purchase will be made (30+ devices)
- needs to be small, with wrist strap
and have some more features like:
- record route, waypoints
- save route and upload it to other devices
- saw the direction (e.g. 'next waypoint 200m. North')
- Information about the course (turn, off course, in course)
- battery lasting maybe 8 hours
So, please feel free to ask me anything, in order to further clarify what is suitable.
