Thanks, but my device wont accept it. It turns off after Garmin logo. I need to force load it. I need the key combination.

Maybe this is what you are looking for :-

ECHOMAP 7x, 9x, UHD, ECHOMAP Plus 4x, Plus 6x, 7x, 9x series

To perform a forced update:

1. Turn the device Off
2. Hold the Power button and number 4 button
3. Release the Power button when the Garmin logo appears
4. Release the number 4 button when Recovery Loader Ready appears
5. Insert the software update card

The device will now install the software update [from microSD]

from your EchoMap Series link in # 1, although the only mention of Echomap 5x I could find is in the links in post #2
