Need help loading gpx files to my 65

I'm inexperienced, old, and completely lost. I have a windows desktop and a 65. I've loaded express and basecamp on the desktop. I've loaded gpx routes to base camp and have copied those files to the external memory on my 65. These routes are in Arkansas and I am in Missouri. When I'm connected to my desktop, I can see all the routes. When I'm disconnected, I can't see them when I scroll the map to where they should be. Someone please help! I leave for a backwoods motorcycle event in a little over a week and need the routes.

I'm not sure I understand your question. I'll start here, where are the routes missing from when you are disconnected, Basecamp? Where did the original gpx routes come from? The routes made on Basecamp will stay in the My Collection folder in BC (Basecamp) and can be transferred to your "65". By 65, are you referring to a Garmin DriveSmart 65? I have some experience with making routes on BC and transferring them to my nuvi 1450 and then I replaced it with a DriveSmart 55. I have never made a route on my Garmin, only on BC
